Earn Your BCBC Credential!
The Board Certified Biblical Counselor Credential can be awarded to those individuals
who are associate and/or bachelor level counselors with biblical and Christian
counselor training, and for advanced lay helpers who have completed training in
biblically-based counseling. If you do not meet these basic educational requirements, receiving you Regular Diploma from Light University automatically qulifies you to apply for the Board Certified Biblical Counselor Credential. The foundational courses, Caring for People God's Way and Breaking Free, are required courses of study along with one elective of your choice to earn the Regular Diploma from Light University.
