CCA 101: Career Counseling Biblical Integration and Assessment 
Dina Jones, M.A. 
In this session, a working theology of work and career will be presented for licensed mental health professionals working with willing Christian clients. The significance of a career within an individual's life will be examined from an integrated biblical and clinical perspective. An understanding of how mental health conditions interplay with career-related issues will be established, including the impact of ADHD, ADD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. Evidence-based research will be presented on the benefits of integrating a client's faith system into their career counseling sessions, emphasizing assessment tools.

CCA 102: Career Counseling Interventions

This session will identify several false and self-limiting beliefs about career, identity, purpose, and capability. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) tools will be demonstrated to address the identified cognitive distortions. Approaches for helping clients identify unhelpful behavior patterns, including personal and generational, will be reviewed. Best practices in utilizing resume reviews, mock interviews or interviewing role plays, and networking education will be established.

CCA 103: Career Counseling Strategies for Today’s Populations

This session equips licensed mental health professionals with specialized knowledge and strategies to effectively support clients facing unique challenges in their career journeys. Dina Jones delves into the topic of grieving career loss and disappointment. Participants will understand the emotional impact of career-related grief on individuals and learn practical strategies to provide support and guidance during this process. Participants will also increase their awareness of various generations' different frameworks and perspectives. Understanding the values, expectations, and career-related challenges specific to each generation will enable counselors to tailor their approaches accordingly. By recognizing the generational influences and factors that shape individuals' career aspirations and decisions, clinicians can provide clients with more relevant and effective guidance.
