As Christian counselors, it is important to perform counseling through the power of the Holy Spirit for effective counseling and psychotherapy. This session addresses the various approaches to the integration of Christian faith into counseling.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CC20 102: Christian Faith in Clinical Practice: Implicit and Explicit Integration<\/strong><br \/>\nSiang-Yang Tan, Ph.D.<br \/>\nChristian faith can manifests itself implicitly or explicitly in clinical settings. By integrating faith in clinical practice, one has to remember that intentional, prayerful integration is key whether it is implicitly or explicitly performed. This session seeks to address how God will guide the counselor in practical ways when helping people through Christian counseling.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CC20 103: The Holy Spirit and Christian Spirituality in Counseling and Psychotherapy<\/strong><br \/>\nSiang-Yang Tan, Ph.D.<br \/>\nOne cannot perform Christian counseling if the power and presence of the Holy Spirit is not intimately known. There are three major areas of the Spirit\u2019s ministry and work in the context of Christian counseling and psychotherapy: the Spirit\u2019s power and gifts, the Spirit\u2019s truth, and the Spirit\u2019s fruit.
