This course offers contemporary insights, thoughts, and trends on childhood issues that are becoming increasingly commonplace. The rate of reported cases of autism, ADHD, and other childhood developmental disorders is increasing, and this course aims to help mental health professionals better equip themselves to help young clients and their families.

CIS 101: Understanding and Managing ADHD from Childhood to Adulthood

Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a neurologically-based condition that affects individuals across all developmental stages of life. This session introduces attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder by first overviewing diagnostic categories in the DSM-5.
