About This Course

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that significantly affects emotional regulation, executive functioning, and overall quality of life across the lifespan. This course offers an in-depth exploration of ADHD’s neurobiology, the challenges of emotional dysregulation, and common comorbidities, as well as its clinical presentation in children, adolescents, and adults. Participants review evidence-based treatment approaches, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies such as behavioral interventions, mindfulness practices, and organizational tools. Ethical considerations in ADHD management, including stigma, cultural factors, and balancing medication with non-medication strategies, are also discussed. The course provides practical, evidence-based tools to create personalized ADHD management plans, improving outcomes for individuals and families. It enhances clinical competencies to address ADHD in diverse populations and integrate effective interventions into practice.
