About This Course
Thousands of people seek help from professional counselors and coaches for their low self-esteem and confidence each year. Even some of the most famous public figures in the world, like Albert Einstein, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep, and Tom Hanks, have stated that they suffer or have symptoms of what is known as “Imposter Syndrome,” or the feeling that a person does not deserve the position or responsibility that they have been given. According to the American Psychological Association, nearly 70% of U.S. adults may experience Imposter Syndrome at least once in their lifetime. Highlighting the most up-to-date scientific research, proven evidence-based treatment strategies, and emerging approaches, this workshop will deepen participants’ understanding of Imposter Syndrome and equip them with the most current, evidence-based therapeutic practices to utilize with clients.
