PCR 101: The Five Languages of Apology: Regret, Responsibility, Restitution, Repentance and Requesting

Apologizing is an important biblical concept, but many times, people are learning how to (or how not to) apologize from parental modeling. Dr. Chapman introduces 5 languages of apology: expressing regret, accepting responsibility, making restitution, repentance, and requesting forgiveness.
PCR 102: Forgiveness and Peacemaking: What it Is and Isn’t

In this course, Dr. Worthington addresses the issue of forgiveness. Forgiveness is a scriptural mandate. Problems in forgiving arise because people do not understand what forgiveness is, how to differentiate it from reconciliation, how to forgive, and how to reconcile. This video will propose certain steps on how to forgive self, others, and achieve reconciliation.
PCR 103: Communication Skills for Domestic Conflict and Conflict Transformation How To’s
Eric Scalise, Ph.D. Runtime: 50 minutes 35 seconds
Conflict is inevitable. For the Mediator, it is essential to learn how to approach conflict well. In this session, Dr. Scalise discusses the core principles of conflict resolution and teaches Mediators how to most effectively handle conflict with clients and in their personal lives. Through addressing issues of assumptions, expectations, and defensiveness, he also teaches participants to navigate the difficulties that arise in conflict.
