Course Lectures

PCC 301: Corporate Chaplaincy

In this lesson, Beth Synder, M.A., will discuss the growing need for holistic care in the workplace and how the ever-increasing field of corporate chaplaincy can fill that need. The presenter will discuss the corporate chaplain’s support role and the do’s and do nots of effective corporate chaplaincy.

PCC 302: Trauma and Crisis Chaplaincy

Scott D. Speight, M.Div., M.MFT, BCC

In this lesson, Scott D. Speight, M.Div. provides an overview of the information a pastoral care provider will need to properly identify the needs of communities and persons in crisis, strategies to assist those experiencing trauma and crisis, and resources for additional resources training.

PCC 303: Community Chaplaincy and Congregational Pastoral Care

Beth Snyder, M.A., BCC and BCCS

In this lesson, Beth Synder, M.A., will discuss community chaplaincy and congregational pastoral care by giving an overview of the differences between pastors and chaplains, provide tips and tools to help find your niche and where to serve in a role of pastoral care and chaplaincy.
